The Salford Trail is a new 50 mile walk around some beautiful and fascinating areas of Salford. Broken up into a series of walks, the trail begins at Salford Quays with a new plaque locating the starting point.
I was commissioned by Salford Ramblers to design, produce and install the etched stainless steel plaque which measures 80cm x 45cm. Marine grade stainless steel was selected for longevity, especially due to the waterside location.
The new walk was opened by BBC Radio 6 Music Stuart Maconie who is also president of Salford Ramblers, and you guess it...it rained!
